Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to read our journalism.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. Our pages work with a keyboard, with screen readers and with JavaScript switched off, and text can be enlarged without loss of content. Every graphic has a text description, and charts have a version laid out for small screens.
How we test
We test every page with automated tools at desktop and phone widths before publication, and we test new templates by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader.
Tell us
If something on our site does not work for you, write to hello@theoverseen.org. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will fix it or send you the content in another form.
